{"id":692,"date":"2019-01-09T11:35:57","date_gmt":"2019-01-09T03:35:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hkapia.com.hk\/en\/?page_id=692"},"modified":"2024-11-30T13:52:14","modified_gmt":"2024-11-30T05:52:14","slug":"introduction","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hkapia.com.hk\/en\/intro\/introduction\/","title":{"rendered":"Introduction of Hong Kong Auto Parts Industry Association (HKAPIA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With the active support of local\nenterprises and the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), the Hong Kong\nAutomotive Industry Group (HKAIG) was established on 5 July 1996. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to better promote the development and enhance the competitiveness of Hong Kong\u2019s auto parts industry, the HKAIG is registered to become a formal industrial association namely \u201cThe Hong Kong Auto Parts Industry Association (HKAPIA)\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the past years\u2019 effort, the HKAPIA\nsuccessfully assisted many Hong Kong industrialists who are interested in\nautomotive components industry to explore and diversify into the auto-business\nand to develop a close network and collaboration relationship with Mainland\nChina, overseas automotive industries as well as related organizations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The HKAPIA has now over 110 company members heavily engaged in the high value-added automotive activities including components design manufacturing and business investment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><u>Objectives<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>To formulate short and long term strategies and action plans to expand Hong Kong\u2019s business into automotive components manufacturing;<\/li><li>To promote business and technical co-operation with potential partners in mainland China and overseas;<\/li><li>To develop close network and relationship with the automotive industries in mainland China and overseas;<\/li><li>To conduct market research and to establish databases related to automotive components business;<\/li><li>To foster the communication, interaction and cooperation among members and to establish liaison with and convey the collective opinions to government bodies, industrial or trade organization;<\/li><li>To serve the interest, build up the reputation and promote the image and capabilities of Hong Kong\u2019s auto parts industry;<\/li><li>To assist in upgrading the technology, engineering, and management skills of the industry so as to improve its performance and enhance its competitiveness in the international market.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the active support of local enterprises and the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), the Hong Kong Automotive Industry Group (HKAIG) was established on 5 July 1996.
